Final version based on test run

I consider the project to be finished for now. Enjoy!

I did a test run last week, and the adventure works as intended. Of course, you can use the material as it suits you, but here is the basic idea... oh, and expect *SPOILERS*. Still here? Good. - So, the adventure is basically one encounter: The confrontation with the evil spirit, who takes control of the weakest PC and makes her/him kill other PCs. The bear - to a certain extent - is a decoy, but I can assure you: The bear is an impressive decoy.

The exotic medallions really help the players since they make the central encounter much easier. I learned from the test run that not having a medallion for every player creates hilarious situations since the PCs started to exchange the medallions very quickly. I also had a good laugh when the player who collected all medallions walked off to find more treasures.

The mine in itself is not super exciting. Actually, mines make bad dungeons since they tend to have a simple layout. However, the way down provides ample opportunity for moody encounters and some fun role play.  I even decided that the MacPeterson gang did not follow the PCs in the mine but waited outside.

If the PCs can steal the treasure, the way up becomes an interesting feature since they have to expect MacPeterson and his gang at the exit of the dungeon. To make the players leave the cave, I had the enemies drop dynamite through the fake well. In general, try to motivate to keep the players moving since there is not so much to do in the mine.

We had a total of three hours of playtime. We could have easily used more time, but I kept the final fight with MacPeterson simple.

If you use the adventure in a campaign, it should have some interesting implications since the PCs not only gain the treasure but can also deliver MacPeterson to the next Sherif. In any case, I hope you enjoy the adventure as much as I enjoyed writing it.
